Brilliant pale gold colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of fig, melon and hazelnut, followed by notes of cashew and toasted oak. The nose is showing good complexity. The palate does not quite deliver the same force as the nose and is a touch drier than expected. Flavours of nut, yeast lees, cashews and toasted oak emerge followed by yeast lees and hazelnut. Spicy back palate.
