An intense Grenache, made from 60 year old dry farmed bush vines. Very deep crimson mauve colour with purple mauve hue. Aroma of liquorice, raspberry, ‘cherry ripe’ and spice. The palate displays great concentration with raspberry extract dominant followed by liquorice and black cherry with black pepper end flavours. Fine, dryinsh tannins which persist, followed by long aftertaste of spice, vanilla raspberry and confectionary.
