2002 Yalumba Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Perfumed top notes of violets followed by cedar, spice and blackcurrant. The palate structure is very tight, with the tannins being very assertive and totally overshadowing the fruit. Flavours of cedar and cigar box appear over a blackcurrant background. Very long chalky tannins persist into the aftertaste.
