2002 Wolf Blass Classic Dry White

Wolf Blass pioneered the ‘Classic Dry White’ style inAustralia. This 2001 vintage is a careful blend ofChardonnay and Semillon. The wine has vibrant citruslemon and light grass on the nose with a hint of vanilla.The Chardonnay provides a rich and full palate balancedby the citrus characters of the Semillon. Oak maturationand barrel fermentation have added further complexitythe wine, creating harmony with the rich fruit flavours.

Cellaring: The wine, while lovely in its youth, willbenefit from 2-3 years careful bottle maturation.

Viticulture: The fruit was sourced from selected SouthEastern Australian vineyards and was harvested whenreflecting true varietal flavour. The grapes were machineharvested at night to take advantage of optimum fruittemperatures.
