2002 Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon

A sophisticated Cabernet, showing some early signs of development. Very deep black crimson colour with deep brick red hue. Lifted nose, with aromas of cedar and cigar box followed by blackcurrant and spice end notes. The palate delivers plenty of weight and persistence. There is a hint of olive in the background which actually enhances the flavour profile. Fine grained, tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of cedar, mint and blackcurrant.
