Totally opaque black purple colour, with deep purple hue. Aroma of liquorice, vanilla and toasted oak, followed by end notes of violets and plum. The palate displays moderate length at this stage but will build over time. The blackpepper flavours are quite dominant followed by liquorice and smoky oak. The fine firmish tannins adds tightness to the structure of this wine.
