Opaque black purple crimson colour – very youthful in appearance. The nose is quite spicy with notes of aniseed and liquorice emerging over blackcurrant. The palate reflects the youthful appearance of the wine with inky spice and blackcurrant flavours followed by a hint of mocca, dark chocolate and stewed plum. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of inky plum, spice and mocca.
