An impressive sparkling wine made from a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The base wine was matured for 12 months in French oak and the wine has spent 18 months on yeast lees.
This wine shows very good creamy mousse with very fine, persistent bead. Deep gold straw colour base wine. The nose displays distinct yeast autolysis characteristics followed by biscuit and honeycomb. Creamy palate, which echoes the nose – a full flavoured sparkling. Clean finish. Long aftertaste.
