Opaque black crimson colour. The nose reveals notes of chocolate, spice, blackberry and liquorice. The palate is big and very clunky with loads of weight but little length or depth – it’s simply just big. Inky plum and stewed fruit flavours on the palate with smoky oak flavours in the background. Soft acid finish with little aftertaste.
