A voluptuous red which has been matured for 8 months in French oak. Superb purple mauve colour with purple mauve hue. The nose is very appealing with lifted aroma of liquorice, dark cherry, raspberry and spice followed by a violet end note. The palate is filled with ripe ‘joosy’ Barossa fruit, with raspberry and cherry flavours dominant. The structure is still youthful, with inky layers emerging. Fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of dark chocolate, raspberry and cherry ripe.
