2002 Sevenhill Shiraz

An excellent wine from Brother John May. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose with top notes of ripe plum, followed by vanilla and liquorice. The palate delivers excellent weight and plenty of flavour. Blood plums are meshed with spice, liquorice and chocolate, overlaid by a very spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins. Very spicy aftertaste.
