This wine has been made from 80 year old vines. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, vanilla and blackberry followed by a liquorice end note, showing strong varietal characters. The palate fruit flavours are quite ‘joosy’ with vanilla, plum and spice evident followed by nuances of blackberry, plum and liquorice. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of plum, spice and vanilla.
