Very deep crimson mauve colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of stewed fruit and black cherry. The palate has also been ‘smoothed’ over in that whilst the wine drinks well, it is hard to find any varietal character evident. Stewed fruit flavours dominate the palate followed by some inky plum characteristics. Fine dry tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
