2002 Plunkett Strathbogie Ranges Cabernet Merlot

Deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The Cabernet component dominates the nose, with notes of blackcurrant, cedar and truffle emerging. On the palate, the flavours of blackcurrant and liquorice emerge followed by a mocca end flavour. The tannins are fine, dry and persistent and last long into the aftertaste with blackcurrant, tobacco and cedar persisting.
