Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve crimson hue. Aroma of spice, plum, mocha and blackberry followed by a hint of violet. The palate structure is quite tight and a bit lighter than expected. Flavours of stewed fruit and spice followed by cedar and white pepper. Fine grained tannins, but quite tight and chalky. Aftertaste of stewed fruit.
