There is a tea leaf characteristic of this wine that some wine lovers will find to be agreeable, and regard it as a complexing layer – we remain unconvinced. Crimson brick colour with brick red hue. Aroma of tea leaf followed by a hint of cedar and a herbaceous endnote. The palate reveals flavours of blackcurrant and tea leaf, supported by fine grained tannins. The balance is very good but the tea leaf characteristics continues.
