The wine has a touch of Chardonnay added to it, in order to fill the palate out. Bright straw colour. The nose is impressive, with lifted grassy notes followed by aromas of unripe gooseberry. The palate is filled with the flavours of unripe gooseberry and spice, showing very good varietal character, over a grassy back palate. Excellent length and persistence. Crisp acid finish, followed by a warm spicy aftertaste.
