2002 Piccadilly Hills Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour with golden edges and a pale straw hue. The nose displays aromas of bees wax and honeycomb over some roasted almond like characters, citrus and spice. The palate has good richness and a waxy texture with flavours of honeycomb and toast followed by some spice and hazelnut on the dry finish. Soft acidity with an aftertaste of hazelnut, bees wax and spice. Holding up surprisingly well for a Chardonnay of this age.
