A generous style with parallels to the Shiraz wines of McLaren Vale. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of ripe plum, spice, blackberry and stewed fruit, followed by a black pepper endnote. The palate has excellent weight and length, coupled with a ‘joosy’ ripe fruit quality. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice and black pepper.
