Bright straw colour. The nose displays distinctive barrel ferment aroma, with notes of butterscotch, yeast lees, melon and fig emerging. On the palate, flavours of cashews, followed by yeast lees and toasted oak over a butterscotch background, and just a touch of grapefruit. Very good balance, followed by a long citrus, yeast lees, melon, fig aftertaste.
