A very good commercial quaffer that has been awarded a gold medal and trophy at the Inland Wine Show. (Not one of Australia’s top shows but none the less the wine obviously represents the best that the district has to offer)
Very deep crimson colour, with deep mauve hue. Aroma of plum, spice, liquorice and vanilla showing a perfumed lift. The palate has an abundance of ‘joosy’ fruit flavours with plum and liquorice evident over a spicy back palate. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of mocha, plum and liquorice.
