The Lily Grace Chardonnay is the first release from the new 1998 plantings. The wine is named after the Friend’s first grandchild Lily Grace. Bright straw colour with a hint of gold. Superb nose of cashew, biscuit, hazelnut, yeast lees and spicy oak. The palate has a creamy texture overlaid with toasted oak, almond and biscuit flavours. Excellent depth with very long aftertaste of toasted oak, yeast lees and almonds.
