The 2001 vintage of this wine was most impressive, whilst the 2002 tends to be a touch too leafy. Medium body. Crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of tobacco, followed by notes of tea leaf, cedar and blackcurrant. The leafy characteristic of this wine is also evident on the palate and is not helped by the tight dry tannin structure. There is a touch of mocca on the back palate. Dry tannins persist. Herbaceous tea leaf aftertaste.
