2002 McIvor Estate Heathcote Shiraz

An impressive Heathcote Shiraz, which has been matured in both French and American oak. Very deep, virtually opaque crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose displays good varietal character with cedar top notes, followed by earth, spice, blackberry and black pepper. The palate delivers the sort of weight and flavour profile that one has come to expect from Heathcote Shiraz – full bodied, with distinct black pepper quality followed by cedar, spice, vanilla and liquorice.
