Totally opaque black purple colour. Lifted nose of fresh liquorice strap, aniseed and confectionary. The palate flavours are youthful, with distinct spice, blackpepper, blackberry, plum and aniseed flavours. Good palate weight and length. Firmish dry tannins followed by a very long liquorice, spice, vanilla and blackpepper aftertaste.
