Totally opaque black, crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose, producing a delightful sniff, with aroma of violet and spice, followed by blackcurrant, liquorice and mocha. The palate is mouth filling, with flavours of cedar and blackcurrant emerging. Fine grained tight chalky tannins, firmish, yet balanced which persists into the aftertaste. Aftertaste of blackcurrant cedar spice and liquorice all sorts.
