Very deep crimson black colour with deep crimson mauve hue. The nose shows a touch of truffle and earth, followed by ripe plum, blackberry and violets. The palate is tight, with flavours of stewed plum, earth and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins, quite dry, followed by an aftertaste of vanilla, stewed fruit and spice.
