2002 Leabrook Estate Cabernet Franc
A magnificent example of Cabernet Franc, showing both delicacy and finesse.Bright crimson black colour, with brick red hue. The nose reveals a hint of truffle followed by earth, raspberry jam and violets. The palate is impressive, with flavours of violet infusion, raspberry, cassis, cherry and spice. Excellent palate length with a surprising degree of complexity evident. Perfectly balanced, fine grained tannin, followed by a long aftertaste.
