Translucent crimson, brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose reveals a gamey coffee top note followed by some smoky oak. The palate does not deliver the same degree of promise as the nose - flavours of cherry, spice and toasted oak emerge with a hint of sour cherry and stewed plum on the back palate. Aftertaste of earth, leather and stewed fruit.
