Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose is appealing with notes of liquorice, spice, stewed fruit and vanilla emerging. The palate is impressive, it has good weight – a delightful range of flavours emerge. Mulberries and spice followed by nuances of liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Fine grained tannins followed by a long aftertaste.
