This wine has been made from 100 year old Grenache vines and matured for 3 years in French oak. Very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Perfumed nose of violets, raspberry jam, cedar and spice. Rich, ripe palate flavours are supported by a silky smooth texture. Flavours of spice, chocolate, raspberry and prune emerge. Warm, spicy back palate. Velvet tannins. Aftertaste of ripe raspberry, prune and liquorice allsorts.
