Very deep brick red colour with amber brown overlay showing considerable bottle age. Flavours of stewed plum, followed by raisins and cedar. The nose is also showing signs of age – top note of stewed fruit followed by dry raisins and cedar. The fruit flavour is fading away and drying out. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and dry raisins.
