2002 Ingoldby Chardonnay

The fruit for this wine was sourced from our traditional growers in McLaren Vale. A cooler growing season has resulted in flavours, which are fine and powerful. "2002 is an excellent year for chardonnay in McLaren Vale," said Charles Hargrave.

Straw yellow colour. Aromas of fig, peach and melon are supported by complex barrel characters. Fine and powerful flavours of peach and fig are evident on the elegant palate. Barrel and malolactic fermentation have resulted in a rich creamy mouth feel with good length. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 4 years.
