2002 Hidden Spirits Ardmore 17 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

An extremely limited shipment from Hidden Spirits has arrived, with most of the whiskies selling out before they've hit the shelves. What remains are just a couple of bottles of a cask strength Ardmore, distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2019. It's yet another impressive selection from Italian independent bottler, Andrea Ferrari.

Tasting note: [10ml sample] Brilliant gold. Toasted cereals, dried fruits and dustings of cocoa on the nose, building with earthy, sooty peat and lanolin. Intense delivery with fabulous oily depths; peach and apricot tart, bitter cocoa and sooty peat followed by a spike of spirit heat. The finish is ashy, drying and long. 52.7% Alc./Vol.
