2002 Gilbert's Siding Erebus Shiraz

Don’t bother looking up the internet site that has found its way onto the cork – it doesn’t exist, being only a parking lot! Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Lifted nose of vanilla and spice, followed by blackberry and a hint of violet. The palate has good weight, with flavours of cherry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary emerging. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cherry and spice.
