The wine is composed of a blend of 80% Barossa Merlot, 10% Adelaide Hills Merlot and 10% Barossa Cabernet. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose displays complexity and definition of style. Aroma of spice, cedar and mulberry, followed by a touch of blackcurrant creating a perfumed sniffing experience. The palate reflects the complexity of the nose, intertwining flavours of cinnamon with mulberry, cherry, spice and white pepper over a dark chocolate background. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, dark chocolate, spice and cherry.
