2002 Giaconda Warner Vineyard Shiraz Magnum (1500ml)
Was $299, Now $240
The 2002 Shiraz Warner Vineyard spent 19 months in 60% new French oak. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a stunning nose of camphor, lead pencil shavings, blackberry liqueur, and incense. Fabulously concentrated and rich as well as elegant, pure, and multi-layered, this stunning Victoria Shiraz should drink well for a decade or more.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate #161 (Oct 2005)
A powerful wine. An attractive floral nose but the real allure is a meaty, aniseedy, smoky dryness, giving the wine a beautiful sense of movement through the mouth – so that there’s a burst of flavour on the finish. Lots of tannin, black cherried weight, and ripeness.
