This was a very disappointing Shiraz from a producer with much more talent than this wine reveals. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, blackcurrant, cocoa and cedar with just a hint of mint. The palate is quite short and lacks the concentration that is associated with Dalwhinnie reds. Flavours of stewed fruit and cedar emerge, fine dry dusty tannins. Aftertaste of sour cherry and stewed fruit.
