The Cape Mentelle Semillon Sauvignon Blanc displays a brilliant water-like colour with a very pale straw hue. The nose is impressive with lifted grassy herbaceous notes over a dusty end note. On the palate the flavour of unripe gooseberries emerges over a grassy, herbaceous back palate. Quite concentrated at first but the palate flavour fades relatively quickly leaving a grassy aftertaste. Crisp acid finish.
