An impressive red, grown at Blewitt Springs on sand over ironstone soils. The vines are 60 years old. Opaque black crimson colour with purple hue. Aroma of vanilla, cedar, plum, spice and white pepper. The palate is full bodied with flavours of vanilla, plum and confectionary followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine grained velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, plum and vanilla.
