This is a great barbecue red. Outstanding colour. Totally black crimson with deep crimson mauve purple hue. The nose is subdued, with plum and spice notes emerging. Big body weight, but with simple flavour profile. Flavours of ripe blood plum and spice with just a hint of liquorice. Fine grained dryish tannins, followed by a blood plum aftertaste.
