Bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Aroma of ripe plum, stewed fruit, spice and violet. The palate lacks power and concentration of flavour, with spice and plum characteristics evident. Firmish, dry tannins followed by a plum, spice and mulberry aftertaste.
