A very impressive wine, made from a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Brilliant pale straw colour. Grassy herbaceous nose with excellent Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc character. The palate flavours are generous, with excellent length and concentration. Mouthfilling flavour of tropical fruit and ripe gooseberries over a herbaceous background, and just a trace of aniseed on the backpalate. Perfect balance, followed by an aftertaste of aniseed, ripe gooseberries and tropical fruit.
