This is a big red – a fruit bomb of a wine, very much typical of McLaren Vale. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is impressive, with lifted blackberry spice notes. Generous palate structure, loaded with flavours of liquorice, toasted oak, spice and ripe plum. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of ripe plum, liquorice and mocca.
