Bright pale gold colour. The nose displays strong notes of spice, butterscotch, toasted oak and melon. The texture is creamy, with flavours of spice, yeast lees and almonds emerging over a very spicy background. Excellent length and depth with citrus flavours emerging. There is just a hint of butterscotch but it is acceptable. The spicy oak character continues to dominate, followed by an aftertaste of almonds, spice and butterscotch.Cellar 2-3 years (2005-2006)
