Totally opaque black purple colour with mauve hue. Excellent varietal nose filled with notes of liquorice, spice, cedar and violets. Flavours of spice and vanilla over a background of blackberry which are overridden by very strong blackpepper characteristics. Fine dry firmish tannins, followed by a very long aftertaste of plum, blackpepper and vanilla.
