An outstanding new release and a great follow up to the very fast selling 2000 wine. Brilliant, very pale straw colour. The nose displays very fresh aromatic notes of unripe gooseberries and tropical fruit over a herbal background, the palate flavours do not disappoint and reflect the same level of intensity that the nose displays. Flavours of unripe gooseberries are counter pointed by crisp acidity and back palate flavours of tropical fruit and unripe passionfruit. Excellent length and depth. Very crisp acid finish. Perfect balance, followed by a very long gooseberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
