This wine is a tribute to Rolf Heinrich Binder, the winemaker’s father. Bright brick red colour. Medium body. The nose is very impressive, with perfumed notes of confectionary, spice and raspberry emerging. The palate shows excellent weight and depth, with mouthfilling flavours of spice, blackpepper, raspberry, liquorice, and spice, followed by a hint of mint. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance, followed by very long aftertaste of raspberry, spice, liquorice, chocolate and mint.
