Region: Piemonte in Northern Italy
Characteristics: More or less a dark ruby red colour with garnet reflections after ageing. Tenuous and delicate odour with scents of violets that are accentuated and developed through aging, properly tannic when young, velvety, balanced, full bodied and dry to pleasantly sweetish in flavour.
Serve: 18-20ºC open several hours prior to consumption
