2001 Tierra Salvaje Cabernet Sauvignon

An impressive Chilean Cabernet. Bright, crimson colour, with mauve crimson hue. Medium body. The nose is very appealing with notes of spice, blackcurrant and liquorice. On the palate, flavours of ripe plum and stewed fruit are dominant, with an earthy backpalate. Moderate length. Fine grained, soft tannins, followed by an aftertaste of stewed fruit, plum and spice.
